Report this griefing son of a bitch. First he waited 5 minutes for abandoned, then reconnected and trolled hardcore not just with items and cutting trees, but also in team chat (he wasn't really muted). I don't care if he's protesting against the mute system, I don't want such retards ruining my playing experience. I sincerely hope Valve implements low priority queue punishment for communication abuse.

Oh and it's not an argument, my comments were satirical in nature... which you clearly didn't grasp. Free speech doesn't exist, my ironic point was that it used to on the internet, back when it was a social amoeba... obviously things have changed, I wish I could say for the better.

So... in ascending order of severity, what kind of penalty should be given to flamers? Feel free to select multiple choices!

Take note that this poll is only about the penalty and not the system used to judge players. For the sake of the poll, assume that the system put in place is perfect. You see a guy that constantly insults your mother in the chat, you report him... what should happen to him?

i liked how there wasn't an option to keep the old system of single muting (because flaming goes through player to player mute, and usually isn't cared about by a majority of the players). But because 1% of the population has open problems about flame they feel they need to have the power to ban those people from ever speaking.

Everyone long enough in this forums should be able to remember that guys who were complaining about Dota 2 no longer in their games library and that guy reporting that he was muted permanently.
So you're talking about stuff that dates back to 2011. K.

What's the benefit of that? I can not play a team game when people in my team are playing against me.
Here goes Typhox with his argument against any kind of mute functionality.

But then the terrorists win. You should be reporting them for one of the other two reportable options and send them to LPQ if they're just going to be game sabotaging children.

Until you specify how you determine who is and who isn't a flamer, then this poll is meaningless.
