  • How to fight the mute system:

    Here is the approach I used:

    1) Dont say anything.
    2) Report a random person.
    3) Hope they will complain since the system is indeed broken.
    4) Repeat.

    Mute system is just another attack on freedom of speech. CENSORSHIP IN THE PUREST FORM.

        And if EVERYBODY played 10 games a week and did this, then people would average 1.8 reports a week. Or 3.6 reports a fortnight.

        Which is why the current reporting thresholds need to be higher than they currently are, so that targetted behaviour can be punished, while anarchy can bubble away without disturbing anyone else.

The matchmaker also will raise your Elo and try to put you in players of equivalent skill, which indirectly tries to get the win rate to 50%. However, it has never looked at your historical win rate and put you in a game where it knew that you were expected to lose.
