Huge drop in game quality since latest change of mute system

Having no system is just dumb because it turns Dota into a No-Fun-Allowed area where the only place that you are able to learn in are the tutorials.

Everyone who ever played DotA learnt without any system. I think no system is ok because I haven't seen any good idea for working system.

here is a pro-tip you dont want to hear: if people on my team argue, i just charge into battle. get some kills, motivate the team, send out the message: we can do this. i do this all the time when i am mid and the guys in the lanes argue and it works wonders, it shuts them up. you on the other hand admit that you bow to the "power" of some unfriendly words. on the internet. in a game you claim to be playing "for fun". actually: do you really want to play this game? really? or are you just playing so you can keep pointing your finger and lamenting?

Whoa I don't really want to go in between your argument but I think I should clarify a point here. Huskar rapes OD on a 1on1 at the moment, be it in a 1v1 solomid lane or as a lategame pick. Early mid, the OD won't have his orb, or probably only 1 level of it, which lets you easily beat him in a straight up fight with your flaming spears and lategame the huskar will either have bkb or ghost scepter, if not both, and will just atk you while you can't do anything to him.

Even if that's true, it doesn't excuse Typhox favoring things like Mekansm and Force Staff over Black King Bar. And for that matter, it's completely untrue that Devourer's ultimate does nothing against Huskar. It's just that you get the most bang out of it if you cast it on him while he's full health. Which is a little silly, but this guy really shouldn't be exaggerating the matchup since it includes purportedly his favorite hero.

It's a shame that you are complaining about my performance when you just totally ruined my game before by forcing me to by stuff that I know from experience is a bad idea to buy. Of course, how should I magically turn into an awesome player, when I can not use my 2000 games experience and instead I am forced to do what my allies are telling me, knowing from experience in at least a few dozen games that it's not going to work?
And then I was right and everything is surprised that the enemy Nyx Assassin INDEED does a lot of damage, and the enemy Pugna INDEED instant kills me when I'm casting my ulti and that my Sanity's eclipse INDEED has no effect when I don't have a few Astrals or ints and the enemies are all overfed.
How often do I need to get into these "I knew it all the time but you guys just didn't want to believe me" situations? Why should I lose a game just to please my allies? Why am I not allowed to play to win the game?

Then I have a BKB while we already got an Omni that used Repel on me all the time anyway, and I still get raped by the enemy lone druid because - as I said 1000 times already - Shiva's Guard or Scythe of Vyse would certainly have been the better item.

Yes, maybe I just totally suck on a solo hard lane with Mirana, but nobody can pretend he didn't know it. Literally every game my team blames and flames me, and there is an absolutely huge amount of wannabe's who always know that "you can not lose mid with OD" or "you are bad" or something, then spam it 100+ times in the chat, so I always must mute my entire team every game.
It's not fun to play like that. It also causes me to lose a lot of games.

What this experiment shows me is that the mute system didn't change anything with the attitude of these players. What we need is a manual punishment/system that puts these players into a seperate queue.

I rarely have to mute players i can take criticism even if it false or unwanted. Generally when someone is rage spamming chat or voice I insta mute them and focus on what I have to accomplish in the game. If youre able to turn it around and win mostly due to your dominance it makes the sarcastic comments at the end of the game taste that much sweeter. The only common factor in every one of your games is you, you blaming them for your lose is no more true than them blaming you. Also 1900 games as OD how arent you the best OD player in the world.

Really, if you get flamed every single game there must be a reason for it (yes this is what mute system supporters always say, inb4 you got muted because you deserved it)
Also after 1900 games you should have already grown some thick skin and should already understand how the game works ,in other words you should have learn at least not to play with the same hero in every single game , since counters exist and by picking the same hero over and over your not helpinng your team at all to start with, ever watched competitive? There is a pick/ban phase for some reason, then again with 1900 games most of the players have some skill, if you lack such basic knowledge as not to pick a hero 100% of the time then you deserve to be flamed because you will be outplayed and counterpicked and eventually lose , being guilty , your team will flame you, like the player in the other team knows you, picks nyx assassin and you get flamed when the game ends after being ganked. I don't know if your the case but most likely this is the scenario.

Almost every game I play the flamer is the lowest skilled player in my team. Going into enemies 1v5, then complains about me not suiciding with him. Trash community.

Mute system is just another band aid on the cancer.Im totally indifferent to this since I hardly face it.But its not gonna eradicate the flamer community as Valve states on their communication reports blog/clearly not working as desired.

I still have friends who randomly get muted for 24 hours just out of the blue.And trust me you need to piss them a LOT to get them to flame ,I'm talking 0/20/0 and my friend would get irritated enough to write on teamchat,and a day before he was just muted out of the blue.

As long as the 'automated system abuse' is on,this system is a textbook definition of EPIC FAIL.

EDIT- Since the system has been implemented,there has been a 90% decline in 'Allied communications'.Noone talks out of fear of being misunderstood and getting reported.People hardly care as to what you're upto.They just start flaming if someone does really bad or whatever.This is not really good.Communication is way too important to be taken away like that.

Valve needs to find a middle-ground here.

If you are wrong you should just stay quiet and try to improve. If you aren't don't try to argue but laugh it out in real life, you will only meet those players once, so why bother?
