  • Guild management

Well first of all this might be in some way unique, but I am certain other guilds came upon this problem: our guild covers a wide array of games, Dota 2 being one of them. As it stands, every game has it's own leader so to speak. I used to be one and now I am again. The problem is, that the in-game guild does not allow for one Guild Leader to demote another. Now this can be sometimes problematic as it is in our case. Leadership changes, however some people forget to demote themselves in the guild.

My idea would be so that a Guild Leader should be able to demote another Guild leader with some restrictions.

Another thing is: the guild is structured in multiple layers. So for example, we would have recruiters, people who are in charge of the recruiters, people who are in charge of the events that we hold, people who are in charge of the previous people in general and that is for each region (Europe, American Continents and others) where as then there are 2 more that are in charge of the regions in general. So basically we end up cramping up a bunch of people into the officer positions and only have a few people who can actually change the officer positions by demoting someone if they do not fill a role anymore. Now supposedly one of the higher ups leave and forget to demote themselves (and often it is difficult to contact them as they leave most often on personal life issues whereby they don't even get on their PC much anymore) you get stuck with people you can't do anything with.

    So in short:
    • A way is needed to demote a guild leader other than ask himself
    • Have more tiers in the guild to make management easier
    • Allow to flag specific members to be able to invite people without giving rank
