  • Make Tresdin a Vigil Knight?

From what we've got out of Sven's lore, the Vigil codex sees his existence as an abomination for simply being an half breed. I don't know if the Codex simply condones amiable relationships with Mer alone or if it goes against anything non-human instead, still, we can assume what that someone who might have been grown to believe the Codex's strict rules with fervor is expected to give value to the pure breed of humanity. I mean, it was reason enough to kill Sven's father.
And that fits Tresdin. There's no way to remove his fantastic racism without ruining him, Garitos' voicework has become a part of Tresdin's character. And having someone who despises three thirds of the entire game's cast just for being what they are makes for a lot of possible character interaction, with special mention to Keenfolk, Oglodi and Trowles. It also gives him a purpose, as he would most likely have a murderous grudge against Sven for all hes done to their order.

(And would also make Sven a more likable character in spite of what he did to the order. I want the Vigil Knight to be a bunch of assholes who were only tolerated because Mer-Human relationships were always irrevocably abysmal, and they help get things in check. Their Codex a result of this relationship rather than cause.)

I somehow bet others have posted this possibility somewhere here before anyways.

I completely agree, I suggested he kept his racist personality a long time ago.

Giving him this relationship with Sven is a really good idea, I hope they go with it.

I think that thread got all the feedback the idea ever really needed. Good to see.
