Personally, like many others ahve mentioned, I would prefer having both name and class. I don;t like saying PA or TA or BH or AM, I'm used to Gondar, Mortred, Vagina and so on.

I'd choose Lanayya and Mortredd xD

Vagina, hehe, unusual name for a new hero...

But as the time passes by, he tells you that "My real name is Azwraith. Call me Azwa, my friends call me Azwa.".
Made my day, where do I upvote this?
          Azwa, hehe.

            Do you see the pattern?
Lina Inverse is an anime character.
Rikimaru is a Tenchu (video game) character.
Mortred - haven't seen it anywhere in WC except for DotA. Probably comes from Mordred, a character from the Arthurian legend.
Lanaya - this name appears in many fictional universes (even games like Dragon Age, Guild Wars...)

None of these belong to Blizzard. DotA characters often took inspiration from other works of fiction (Phantom Lancer - Kimahri Ronso, Zeus, Medusa...), so even though there are some that are copyrighted, most of them aren't. Unfortunately, ones like Furion are, so those will be problematic. But, most of them already have names and classes on Dota 2 wiki, so I think it's safe to assume that the name+class format will be implemented.

Wanted to vote for change but accidently voted to keep both assassin titles xD

But I guess with that many votes it doesn't matter too much.

I like the heroes being called by their title/class instead of their name. It signifies to me that they are part of a particular martial group or that within the world more individuals know them by what they do than who they are. Rikki is called "Rikki" because that's how most people know him and he's the only one who does what he does - meanwhile, commoners only know Mortred as Phantom Assassin because she keeps such a low profile.
