Do anyone want to share about their history about dota? Like how you start to play?

I made a bunch of templates and other work for the dota 2 wiki when it was in its very early stages, icefrog noticed the wiki and gave everyone who was working on it at the time (like 6 people) a bunch of keys

then curse bought out dota 2 wiki and a lot of us left

I never knew there's a Dota 2, people play WC3 a lot in here, so I decided to download it then found out about Dota 2, I wasn't really interested in MOBAs back then, Dota 2 was my first.


Also, it's "bored", Niroc.

tf1 was first created on quack engine (that was b4 valve came and said "hey guys, want to port that into the gold scr engine?")

I wasn't into the modding scene back when I played quake when it was new, unfortunately I do know that valve approached robin and that other guy to get team fortress made into a game, and then they were sent plane tickets the very next day

I played another mobas till i found DotA, which i liked the most then. When i knew that volvo was starting so send keys (like in october 2011) i starting seeking for one till in december 2011 there was a fan webpage of dota 2 who needed someones to make heroe spotlight. Since i was moviemaker in CSS i knew how to edit, i listed myself for the job. The owner of the website gave a key so i could do the spotlights. That's how i got my key.

I start playing Dota while browsing WCIII custom map back then around 7-8 year ago. And found out Dota Allstar it version around 6.2 . I can only play for a week and quit Dota because 2 reason.
1.Dota group still small back then
2.I'm totally suck at English so I have no idea how to play.
And doesn't touch Dota for 7 year. At early of this year I'm interested in Magicka so my boyfriend tell me about steam and install it for me. After playing Magicka for 2 week he sent me Dota 2 key. And he said he want me to play with him so I was indulgent him and start to play Dota 2.

Now I totally became a collecter for CM and Dazzle Hats.
