Exactly, theres like a dozen maps from goldsource counterstrike that had obscenely low play rates, theres only like, 4-5 maps that are really good, and on the level that dust2 is at. Of course tho, none of these maps are really made by valve, they just called the modders and signed a few contracts.

I tried. I really, really, really tried. But no. Watching eSport streams is not for me.
I just can't comprehend how ANYONE on Earth can enjoy watching these. It's gud players playing DOTA, and that's fine, I'd watch that, but I can't stand the casters. I just... can't.
I understand that they discuss what may happen looking at the picks and the analysis, stuff like that is good, but 95% of the game they just scream, yell and shout obvious things mindlessly. "AND WE HAD AN ANCHOR SMASH THERE BABALBALBALLA TUSK IS COMING IN RIGHT CLICKS HIM BLABALABALAAOHBAFA" Oh my fucking god I have eyes too, I saw all of that. I find this kind of mayhem the most useless thing. It's ok to have casters, but why must they yell obviously happening stuff? Why can't they just say interesting stuff, like what would have happened, what is the reason this happened, someone had a bkb and did not use it, etc.
Yelling obvious stuff is OK with normal sports because they are (at least they were) streamed in the radio as well, in which case you obviously can't see what's happening and can somewhat imagine what's going on there. But to enjoy esports you must watch the game itself to actually understand shit, they don't just kick a ball and other player's balls, they have at least 4 different shit and 6 different items and the caster's can't yell every single one of them in the middle of a teamfight.

All the games are freaking awesome DOTA, already on-pair if not surpassing Frankfurt Major - so fast paced, so many upsets, the only thing missing are the casual Meepo / WR atomic bombs.
The casters are casting out of their mind, the panelist+caster all-in-one "welcome back to the panel" is hilarious (considering why is this happening cough! 4am cough!) where is that energy coming from? Holly shit! must be opium in the water!Troubleshooting crashes
