          That is not how statistics work. Correlation doesn't equal causation.

          The truth is that the playerbase has been gradually declining ever since May last year at a steady pace: no significant change in that trend has occurred either around or since 7.00 was released.

            Well I've gone to other games like Supcom or Ori and the blind forest (and other platformers etc)


            @Kazzymodus - Correlation =/= causation is not an argument against concluding from data sets. It is merely something to bear in mind, in that a correlation is indicative only.

            Nonetheless, if you look at ths shit of 7.00 and the way it fluctuated, then it is obvious. 7.00 killed this game.

              Perhaps they lost faith in MOBAs altogether and now playing something completely different.

              It is also possible that those were all smurf accounts that now can't play ranked without a phone number so they stopped using it.

                    You see that the player base is declining. You see that 7.00 was released at some previous point. Your conclusion is that 7.00 is causing the decrease in players.

                    Yes, that is assuming causation, and no, there is none.

                          I'm hyped for GoT 7. One of the greatest series in my opinion. Right at the top with Breaking Bad, House of Cards and Lucifer.
