To me it seems incredibly broken, but i wanted to check is it a bug - or an "intended feature"?
Level 1 Frostbite completely interrupts level 3 Black Hole.
Level 1 Silence interrupts a level 3 Death Ward.
    A simply purge interrupts a level 3 Fiend's Grip.

There are a lot of effects that counter certain abilities on level 1 already. I think thirst should stay. Slark is pretty strong and BS hardcounters him. Just like PL and ES. Or Trax and Slark/Clockwerk/Gondar. That's absolutely viable and I think it should remain the way it is.

@lazy - the reddit thread seems to be quite decent with 120 comments.

Matter fact is, there might be some counter heroes to others, but you have to actively use spells and make plays with those heroes. With the Bloodseeker you just stand on the map not doing anything and its a counter to slarks passive, when youre low health.
Why don't you just buy some lifesteal?
Like said Max you can alway use potion or Ult to go over 50%

I still don't see the problem with Thirst removing Slark's passive since obviously everyone have vision of him.

Don't pick Slark against BS? Every hero has a counter, that's not unusual.

You have better chance of Valve seeing it if it is posted on Reddit.
But then again the post is so dumb, so most likely it will be downvoted to oblivion.

How is this a "problem"? It's a pretty decent counter. Many heroes counter many other heroes. And yes, if you create a forum post you're in fact asking for other opinions, if you like it or not

IMO its unacceptable that BS sees heroes globally now. Its like you cant even farm your jungle or your safe lane and regen fast afterwards. Unless in the very lategame where slark is more durable.

But still a level1 passive shouldnt not mess up another heroes level 16 ult passive IMO.

Icefrog has proven to make some bad balancing decisions in the last few months, like really bad (Brood, ES etc.), imo this was one of them as well.

Not sure if troll or serious ...
