  • Connection protection

There are various punishments for connection issues. Even a disconnected team member can get you punished. A disconnected server WILL get you punished. A disconnected Steam WILL get you punished. If you are disconnected but there is no problem with your internet or even your Dota connection, but you click, reconnectreconnectreconnectreconnect... You reboot whole computer and start Dota in 20 seconds flat, checking internet is working while you do it, reconnectreconnectreconnectreconnect... All this time Dota is recording events and knows, I mean, it's going to make sure before it punishes you it is not your fault, no? It checks up with Steam to see it wasn't their fault doesn't it!? No!?!? NO!!

And beside that, I rarely have client side connection issues. I play the game a lot sometimes so it didn't used to bother me if I was matched up alot with teammates who have bad connection issues, but now with the new MMR you get punished at every turn. My connection issues are exemplary. It's just a suggestion, but if you want a major improvement, find and protect those with good connection history, probably been said loads of times
