  • About the Learn function.

"Summary" and "Lore" aren't just enough, i think that adding "Strategy" and "Arsenal" will be a good idea.
So new players can read about how a hero is meant to be played and the use of his skills by reading his "Strategy" or why recommended items for that hero are recommended in "Arsenal"

    For example

    Bastard - Summary : *points*
    - Lore : Bastard is a funny guy.
    - Strategy : "Bastard is an Initiator, so he reserves his fury to unleash it at the beggining of the battle, blablabla" and you can end with a glorious tip or facts of the hero, like alternative uses of skills, or advanced mechanics of them that can be useful.
    - Arsenal : "His skills are effective but have short range, blablablaa, buy blink dagger to counter his mobility and to surprise your enemies by jumping into battle with your skills blablabla, also you can get radiance for blablabla"

I'll give you a +1, and also a "liek" counter, to let people thumbs up or thumbs down the description to get feedback of how much they liked or didn't like it and why.

It should be enough to implement what is already up at playdota. Just implement the descriptions from there. But the idea is very sound nevertheless.

We also need default suggested items on learn tab.

But IMO, there's no need for more complex and detailed descriptions. Just leave the basic description of those heroes' roles and let people to learn the advanced strategies with guides. I read that guides will be implemented in-game. That will be awesome!
              Fix how reconnection works now!

What a mindless T-UP from me.
Heroes this user should seriously reconsider ever picking again.

+1 and maybe add up what hero he can counter and what hero he can be countered with. and yes guides implementation would be superb.

I thought this stuff would be in the learn section when i first clicked there too. I think the spell specific mechanics from the playdota hero page should be included, as they are an important part of playing the game. ie, for meathook:
                        • Damage type: pure
                        • Invisible units can be hooked normally.
                        • Meat Hook can go through cliffs, trees, structures and siege creeps.
                        • The tip of the Meat Hook is what drags the units to the Butcher, so touching the Meat Hook in any other part than its tip will not trigger its effect.
                        • Meat Hook deals damage and a ministun to enemy units, effectively interrupting them. Allied units can be dragged too, but neither the damage nor the ministun will be dealt to them.

Great idea. For the advanced mechanics, you could have mini achievement style things; They won't do anything, but they'll highlight proper use of skills. Things like

Tiny: Use Avalanche and Toss to deal xxxx damage
Pudge: Grab Hero from the fog
Rhasta: Trap someone within your wards

                            And stuff like that.
