  • Add assists to kill-messages

In DotA Assists are shown at every killmessage, why not in Dota2 aswell? It is implemented since ages in DotA and it is really handy, useful and i kinda got used to it! So please add assists to kill messages once again

They do.. very occasionally. I've seen it. "Gold is split between Mave and x". It's more often a no than yes though.

From what i've seen, they only appear when Radiant/Dire get the herokill and heroes didn't. It was exactly the same in DotA some years ago.

+1 to this! you cant quickly know who just ganked your teammates...

I dont know if you note this.. But now the Kill messages are "Nick(Hero)" and that occupies more space.. so in the Assist information.. u can avoid that and just said 1 thing

Right now it only show the killer (x killed y).
In case Radiant/Dire get the kill, it will show all that share the kill (x killed by Dire, gold split between y and w).
Why do you want to display the assists? (besides that's how it used be).

This would be a good addition. In the same fashion as when there is no killer. [x] pwned [y]'s head for [z]! assists: [n](h), [n](h), [n](h), etc

The only real issue I have is how the way the messages is displayed diffrently, When the Dire/Radiant gets the kill The hero who gets kill is stated first = (X was killed by the dire) but when a hero gets a kill it sais
(y killed x) Has bothered me several times when i though a teammate got killed when acctually it was the dire who killed an enemey.

                          ^ What he said.

Also +1 for CS(S)-like Kill Messages.

As most people mentioned already, it is very useful to see who assisted in ganks to see where enemies are on the map for safer farming/ganking/warding. Aswell as for observing games.
