Forum Rules

    Steam Trading - Dota 2 Scammers

    Hi all,

    One of the most common scams that we are seeing users perform is offering a Dota 2 Key in exchange for X items/gifts.

    Please do not engage in trades with these people as there is no such things as a "Dota 2 Key" to trade for. If a user has an extra copy from the ones we handed out they will be able to trade these copies no matter what. If you come across a user that says he has a copy of Dota 2 and says it isn't tradable; he's lying and most likely trying to scam you.

    So to summarize, please do not engage in trades with users offering the following:

    - A Dota 2 CD Key (Keys cannot be traded in Steam Trading)
    - An untradable Dota 2 extra copy
