A lot of players lack of the basic knowledge required for this game, this kind of subtle addition can't injure anyone.

There are rooms in this game that could bring common tips to new players (or those convinced they are good) in a positive way.

Please consider it. This game has one of the worst learning curve in the video game history (right below Dwarf Fortress), any help is always welcome.

EDIT: Instead of just having text, adding schemes/pictures demonstrating the concept would be even more effective for people that can't speak english (or those who never read texts because they don't give a damn).
Pictures are way more effective than texts.

I know. I thought it was and now I can't find the thread. That's why I haven't closed this. Just carry on unless someone finds it. :-)

A very good idea indeed. Tf2 has this and many other games as well. I would not limit it to basics, also more special things like "You can prevent Neutral Creeps from spawning by placing an Observer Ward near the camp" or tower aggro switching etc. Took me forever and I would still not know if it wasnt fro friends who told me
            Izhai acha sof!

There was a concept of allowing new players to ask question. And then people waiting for a match to start could write a answer.

So for example someone could pose a question like in the socialize tab.

Is it a good idea to get Vlad's on Phantom Lancer.

And while your waiting in the que or for the game to start you could write

"No, his illusions don't benefits from stats"

                    Welcome to troll land.
Would be a good idea in a perfect world, but we all know that many immature people are going to mislead beginners on purpose only for fun.

You generally add the function for people to vote things up or down. Although this does create some dumb situation most of the time it clears up the trolls.

+1, definitely. It's really effective in TF2 as well. I don't think there's any need to show some kind of diagram, just have the text match whatever the user has their language set to.
