Confirm to Leave Game

In about 1.5k games it happened the 2nd time for me just now. My dota 2 crashes (once again) I want to press 'Reconnect' yet missclick to 'Leave Game'
I don't care about the abandon but there is no possibility to reconnect then.

I wonder why you get a message if you just quit the game because if you restart it, it lets you reconnect but not when you accidently hit Leave game.
Would make much more sense to request confirmation if you hit leave game rather when you just close it.

Why the heck is the button just below reconnect anyway ._.

2 times already happened to me. Games dont even appear on "game history" after closing and reopening dota2 again. Weird.
On a side note: In one of those games i had an item drop but its not in my backpack. Not that i care at all, just for info.

Good to know I'm not alone...

A simple confirmation message like: 'Leaving a game can ruin the game experience for other players. Do you really want to abandon the game?' would prevent this from happening.

Yeah I've accidently pressed leave game once or twice. :\

this did happened to me a good amount of times, it's really sad since some of those games were really epic and it sucks not being able to come back.

i dont see any reason this shouldnt be implemented. you already get a message when you quit dota 2 during a game, why not when you hit the leave game button?

just left a game by accident, they really should put a confirmation dialogue to prevent misclicks!!

The Reconnect button is larger, but, at the same time, the consequences of clicking "leave game" are pretty big, so +1 to safety net.

0.5 seconds consumes a lot of your time obviously, especially while playing dota
you must be stressed to near death

As you shouldn't ever leave and this 1 second message would only come up after a game... I think you need another hobby but Dota.

if you're leaving so often that it becomes a waste of your time, we're not entirely sure we want you playing dota with us
