  • Enable Control key (Ctrl) for item use.

For some reason in the Control Settings tab, I can't set it so my items will be "Ctrl"+*Key*.

    When I press "Ctrl"+1, I get 1. When I press "Alt"+1, I get "Alt"+1.

I don't understand the reason for blocking this option, and I would appreciate it if this could change.

I'm left handed on the mouse and so my right hand is on the keyboard.

I enjoy playing where I never have to move my hand's resting place to use anything.

In order to use items, I have set it up to use the "Alt" key and 1-3 ; 'Q'-'E'.

This works, but I much rather use the "Ctrl" Key for this action - my thumb will be resting easy and not cramped up.

At the moment CTRL is hard-coded to leveling up abilities (so CTRL-Q levels up your Q ability). I guess at some point you will be able to rebind it.

The same is true for SHIFT, that is the default (unchangeable) bind for queuing actions.

I didn't know CTRL was hard-coded to level up.

You can change the leveling up button and I changed it to 'Z' so I use that. Seems weird that something you can rebind like that can't be used...

CTRL doesn't bring up a menu, CTRL-Q instantly levels your Q ability. And yes, it's weird that you can't change that yet.

Pramo is correct about this. If you search "ctrl" on the forums, you'll find quite a few posts that discuss a dislike of the pre-assigned variable.
