Ah, right, different versions of miss lines. I've forgotten about those. The complaint is pretty valid in that case. It was weird how some heroes say them one way while others do it differently, anyway.

Okay, I will explain this again, nice and slow:

If you call "Missing!" as Earth Spirit, he has a chance to say two voice lines:

The simple "Missing top!" voice line.

    or

    Top is up to something!

There's a chance one of these will play when you call missing. It's random.

When Lina got an update to her voice lines which added a bunch of rival voice lines etc. she also got her "Missing!" voice lines.

    Top is missing!
    Middle is missing!
    Bottom is missing!

Simple as that. But here's the thing.

When they released the Lina Announcer pack, they recorded more "Missing!" voice lines. Every announcer has them. They are all unused though.

    Top is missing!
    Missing top!
    Middle is missing!
    Missing middle!
    Bottom is missing!
    Missing bottom!

So instead of having these be unused forever, why not just make Lina use them when she calls "Missing!"? The more voice varation we get, the better.
Just doing the exact same thing I want with the Clockwerk announcer. Take the voice files from the announcer pack and make them used by them.

Lina isn't even the only hero that has them. Nyx Assassin and Lone Druid have different variations of the "Missing!" voice lines.

Aha. I thought they had separate sections for unused material. In this case, this is really weird. Even weirder than Clockwerk himself not being updated overall, he's one of the heroes who lack lines. I am guessing the actor was busy.

    At about 1 min

The Wiki history when they were removed from the pack's page (because the announcer does not use them)

Hm. Strange. I did not find anything new in any of the files for the announcer or Clockwerk himself. Where exactly are they in the game?

Also, nothing for Lina, not anything that I've found at least. All of the lines in her pack are for the announcer, and nothing was added to the hero herself.

I know that Lina uses her missing lines, but the announcer pack has more of them and they are unused, so why not make them play sometimes when you call Missing, just like how Kaolin goes "Top lane is up to something." or just "Top is missing!"

Clockwerk announcer also has them, the wiki doesn't have them for some reason.

I don't see any missing lines in here, or did they forget to upload them?

He did from the announcer pack update, but they never enabled them

I also just realised that the Lina announcer also got some "Missing!" voice lines. So why not include those too? Earth Spirit got multiple missing voice lines too.

Right now he isn't. It was the same thing with the Death Prophet, who got her announcer pack on Diretide, including the "Missing!" voice lines.
Working...
