  • Unit Speech and Announcer bug

Ever since the patch from 3 days ago, I have been experiencing an audio bug as follows:

When using C-Media USB headphone adapter for both headphone and mic, Unit Speech and Announcer volume is extremely low volume.
When using headphone ONLY through the laptop headphone port (realtek media device) the Unit Speech and Announcer volume is non-existant.
When using built in laptop speakers (unplugging the C-media adapter and not using headphones) ALL audio works correctly (realtek default device).

Asus N550JV with default audio hardware (realtek audio device).
The C-Media USB (Sabrent branded) device uses no custom drivers, only microsoft default sound drivers.

In-game audio settings have all volume settings to 100% (and I have changed these to test the effects, with no noticable change/reset).
I have unistalled/reinstalled DOTA multiple times, including deleting local content in 2 locations, as well as disabling cloud support to wipe my settings and start over.

This seems to be related to the patch, as the audio (regardless of headphone, C-Media device, or realtek device) works correctly for all other applications/games.

Please let me know if any additional info is needed to troubleshoot.
