  • Shadow Fiend new voice is very different form the old lines.

You can notice that in the new lines for SF (rival lines for example) only a deep voice can be heard, while in the old lines you can hear 2 voices at the same time: one deep and another one with a higher pitch. Isn't it possible to make them more similar?

I know it's impossible to be perfect, but it's too different for him. It's like 50% of the effect is missing, while Storm Spirit and Pudge new lines are perfectly fine!!!

Storm really has the best updated voiceovers to this day, but, yeah, Nevermore actually does have this problem. I doubt that it will be fixed anytime soon, though. It appears to be a rather big pain in the neck. Sven's voice wasn't even filtered, for instance.
Heroes this user should seriously reconsider ever picking again.

Some new lines are not so good, but the effects in the voice makes it sound like the old one. That's what I'm talking about!!

His line for when the game has started and the first blood lines sound really bad for me, the new lines are very similar to storm spirit's personality (maybe they were recorded mixing both heroes lines in between?)

The problems with new lines is that they miss higher pitch layer on them, so nevermore sounds like doom bringer.

I have to agree. Storm and Earthshaker had excellent vocal additions, but with Nevermore it sounds like Valve forgot which filter set they used.

I concur, needs the higher pitched voice digitally added even, just to get them matching

Another example is the filter on Bane's voice. It sounds like a completely different filter as to make it sound nasally or some sort of like of metal echo. For example, compare the old voice lines
