  • The "found a game"-sound when tabbed.

When you are outtabbed and find a game, the "BOOOM" sound is so loud my eardrums explode.
It's not nearly that loud when tabbed in.

I think it should be a little softer. Not too much though, I have to be able to hear it from the bathroom.
Change has kept DotA alive, evolving, and improving since 2002. And now DotA has an entire new engine at it's disposal, with infinite new capabilities.

So why are there so many DotA fundamentalists/conservatives that oppose new features, options, and information?

          Embrace the change.

I really do agree with this, it literally blast your eardrums off. Like a small/quieter sound would be good. I mean when the dota2 tab is blinking it already indicates a game is found.

I never noticed a change in volume whether you are in game or tabbed out. (win 7) But its a very good feature, more than a few times i have joined a game, tabbed out and completely forgot about it until 10 minutes into the game. Maybe you can turn your own's computer volume softer? Unless you mean another type of sound, perhaps something like when you receive a message through steam chat

I encounter the same problem and it's really annoying cause it definetly hurts my ears
(on top I'm playing with in-ears which doubles the sound)

Is there a solution for this?
