  • Game sounds still audible when lowered to minimum

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, couldn't see another subforum more appropriate.

A lot of the time when I play DotA, I like to have music going instead of the game sounds but still have voice enabled. However, when I have the master sound control at maximum, voice at maximum, but have game and music dragged all the way to the left, the sounds are still audible in-game. Sure, they are quiet, but it is pretty annoying to hear unwanted sounds over the top of your music.

I usually have my computer's volume on max and my music player on half volume so I can hear voices over the top of the music, but by having the music player lowered it means I can still hear game sounds/music as well.

Shouldn't dragging the audio options to the left completely disable the audio altogether?
If not, shouldn't there be a way to do so?

This just started happening to me with the "out of beta" update.

      C'mon, Valve.

This has been happening for like 2 weeks or more by now. Old News. Please fix it, Valve!
I will mercilessly add to my ignore list anyone that makes an incredibly annoying signature.
