  • [Suggestion] Tournament Lobby

What I think would improve the already awesome dotaTV tool is some kind of tournament lobby for the spectators. The idea is that, similarly to the ingame page of the specific tournament with all the replays and live games, there could be also a way to stay tuned for the tournament you are watching during the pauses between games. I think a lot of people watch a lot of games in succession, or just want to watch the whole BO3 or BO5 match and not just one game, so they are stuck in game waiting or have to open the twitch stream just to stay tuned.

The things that provoked this idea (all of which are present on twitch stream and missing on dotaTV ingame) are:
    1) You don't know when is the next game coming up - if it's in a moment, an hour or tomorrow.
    2) The commentary gets cuts off at the end of the game and you may miss some useful insight or just a summary of the game which just ended. Also, just waiting in silence is kind of boring.
    3) You don't know the current state of a series - if it's 2:0 or 2:2 unless you watch the previous games.
    4) You don't know what teams are actually playing next. A nice bonus would be to see even the game lobby to see the players and casters themselves or any standins present.
    5) At longer tourneys or leagues, you don't know the team standings unless you visit the website.
There may also be more, but that's all that came to mind.

Any thoughts and / or opinions are welcome. ^^
