  • Tournament games laggy and unwatchable from South Africa

    After the First Blood update all the torunament games are laggy and has a ping of 550+, where they used to have a ping of < 400. Also when I connect to Tournament games hosted in Europe (Star Ladder) I get connected to hosts in weird locations like Brazil and US. Eg. I watch the game between 4 Friends + Chrillee and RoX.KIS.Dota2, it was hosted somewhere in Europe, doesn't matter where exactly, but I was referred to Brazil (

    Just to add to this, when the South African servers were just implemented I could watch european and north american tournaments on our servers with a ping < 100, so there is definitely something wrong. It's a huge pity because I / we paid for those tickets with the expectation of having a better experience than

    I too (living in Durban) am experiencing this, I took over 20mins to connect to the 4FC vs RS.Int game last night. Just got constant timeout errors. When i eventually did manage to connect, all the audio was laggy as hell. Couldn't make out a single word. Pls fix Volvo, you're stealing my money

      Same here South Africa Johannesburg. Trying to connect to watch EMS Raid call kept on getting "Disconnected from Server. Source TV Stop" Its really annoying

      PS can someone please tell me why the hell south Africans are in the same server chat as south americans?

        Meh....South America, South Africa...whats the difference? The russians and south americans can't seem to tell, so why should Volvo?
