  • [Suggestion] Allow temporary control of camera during Directed camera view

The Directed camera view is a fantastic piece of work, and a really great addition to the game. Sometimes, though, it drifts away from something you're watching during a teamfight, or you want to quickly check what's happening somewhere else.

It would be nice to have a button that you could hold down to temporarily centre the mouse on your cursor, whether on the screen or on the minimap. The button would temporarily override the directed view. You could set it to Middle Mouse Button, for example, to quickly glance at things whenever you want to see something the directed view has scrolled away from.

Not sure what else to say really

I think this is really a necessary feature because sometimes the directed camera just doesn't catch things you can see on your minimap, and having to change the camera mode before going to look at them sometimes causes you to miss it.

I think instead of holding a button, I would rather it did some sort of automatic detection, like if you didn't edge pan or click on the map for 5 seconds.

Of course, your idea is good too and can't hurt, so +1
