  • Team Colors are confusing

I have found that team colors while spectating are needlessly confusing.

Namely, I find myself almost subconsciously rooting for Green. This is especially true in team games in which I do not care who wins ie no vested interest.

The problem clearly stems from playing games because in short: Green = good ... Red = bad.

I think it would be best for spectators if (during spectator mode) team colors were changed to something more neutral.

I think the mini map icons would probably remain fine (I have not noticed an initial reaction to seeing an 'X' in spectator mode, although it is plausible).

I understand how you feel, but at the same time, their team colors match their respective environments.

Except their is no continuity. If you played a game as Dire and it kept you as red, that would be something.

Instead, since you always play as green, I believe that there is a subconscious draw toward Radiant in spectating games.
