I came to suggest this. Glad I found it. This would be awesome. Very annoying when two fights are going on at the same time.

I think rewind, forward, and slow motion are all really important features for live spectating.

The ability to pause would also be good.

Agreed, would be nice to have, even just to rewatch big teamfights.

This has been suggested before, but I'm too exhausted to find it for you.

Things like rewinding, slow motion, etc.

A cool idea would be to let casters use a dual monitor setup and have one screen be the main game for streaming/casting and the other screen can be used to edit on the fly replays(with slow mo for example) and post them either as a fullscreen/pip on the main game.
That would be awesome. Although I doubt there would be a need for Valve to make that. If two streamers work together they could feed the second monitor PIP on the stream.

It's a useful feature for production value. It's not that important, but it could up the production of tournaments a lot. DotaTV works in a certain way, though, so it's a question of whether or not it's possible.

Jump in time during a live game

When watching live games, its often tough to catch everything thats happening or sometimes something really epic happens and you want to rewatch it.
It would be awesome with a feature that allows you to go back in time during live spectating, just as you can when watching replays. This will also allow players to jump into a live game and be able to watch it from the beginning.
This feature is among the most important features you could implement to improve casting of eSport games, and is a features that is really missed in casting of eSports compared to normal sports.
A feature like this will need an improved UI to support conveniently jumping through the time with buttons like [-30 sec], [+ 30 sec], [live time], etc.
Working...
