Currently the stream's quality is much higher. I'm not sure on whether the idea is to have DotaTV be slightly buffered or distributed to multiple servers or not but I got connected to a server somewhere in Arizona which is a ~450ms delay. Visually nothing's changed from TI2 qualifier although it is slightly annoying to have the caster's audio be slightly delayed from the game.

Voice is decent. Not as good as stream but bearable. Animation lag is still there, but not as annoying as in TI qualifier, hardly noticeable. Better than TI qualifier, still worse than stream.

they apparently ninja patch DotaTV?(heard from tobi stream) and 2nd game was smooth
I hate people that put their Rig specs in the signature. This is not overclock.net!
            CPU: AMD Trainwrecker AM5+ 12150 hexacontatetra-core 1.65 Thz | RAM: Corsair Revenge 4TB DDR6 (0.24-0.24-0.36) | GPU: Sapphire 9990 128GB GDDR9 Hexa-Fired (0.65/0.95/1.1Thz) | Resolution: @ 20480x12800

All Specs shown in the signature are fictitious, any resemblance to real hardware, current or obsolete, is purely coincidental

2nd game was better, but still not perfect. I personally don't care about the broadcasters sound. They did patch the animations thing but it's still not 100% correct. The creeps still die before they get last hit. Example: Morphling hits a creep, the dmg is dealth before the animation is done.

Agreed. I bought the pass for the Defense because I want to help the growth of Dota as an esport, however the audio quality is noticeably low, and this could be a dealbreaker as far as expanding the esports audience goes. Most people probably will be disappointed by low quality audio.

With the recent updates the animation lag seems to be MUCH better, although still noticeable sometimes.

Sound quality is still really poor though I assume that its one of the beta things about DotA TV.
