  • [Suggestion] Allow changing spectator dropdown stats on hold

The thing is: When you are spectating Live games, or watching replays, and you want to watch with commentary both video and audio, you cannot see other dropdowns than broadcaster... So my suggestion is: allow showing dropdown even when following broadcaster camera, on key-hold. So by normal the stats shown are the same as spectator, but when you hold some spectating button the dropdown changes for the duration of holding it... Sorry for bad english.

If you have your view locked as Tobi, it will show you what dropdowns he is looking at. If not, it wont lock on his. If you want to just quickly check other stats, pause it and do so

I am sorry, but the whole point of the suggestion is to not loose the camera view from let say Tobi. And I posted it in Live games, so i thought it's obvious you cannot pause it...

It is all about the dropdowns while watching directed camera... so you don't loose the action, and you get a little flexibility in what you can observe...
Is my point still not clear? I will try to make it clearer if yes.

Wow, didn't realise this has been suggested so long ago. Anyway I'm going to resurrect this since...

I would love this feature as well, considering that TI3 is coming. Maybe something simple like an option(from the settings menu) to override whatever dropdown casters are using? It's a small thing, but really really annoying when I want to see networth and they're showing buyback or god forbid, last hits. Or when I open up the inventory window and suddenly the gold/xp chart comes on.

Yea would be nice to be able to quickly take a peek at another list though I would like to be able to switch back to theirs aswell. Most of the time its on CS but if you put it on there and they switch back and forth you can get confused.
VALVE please make a punishment system that punishes the offenders... not the team. Also ever heard about communication? Try it. It might solve a lot of debates/questions here on the forum.
