Ahoi guys!
Lately I had some thoughts about how to improve the game -especially for people who watch streams / competetive games in the client and are relatevily new to DotA. Some ways to help those players a bit would be to put in some easily accessible informations about everything that's going. One example would be hero information boxes in the -cm screen which would appear for some seconds (or until the next heroes are picked / banned). This would also benefit the casters (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) in introducing certain ideas the captains might have in the limited space between the picks.
Here are some hasty shopped pictures, how I imagine it (ofc with a lot more polishing):

//rightclick -> view image for slightly bigger pictures
(maybe add other infos, like what the primary role is (carry, support, utility).
To begin with I thought Casters should do such stuff with overlays and it shouldn't be something in the game itself. But that would mean a lot of work for the casters and is probably not cost-effective, possible only for bigger events (like The International). So if something like this was in the game itself, it would help the casters, but be more work for the developers again, because after all they'd have to update that stuff from time to time, not even talking about implementing it at first.
Any thought about this?
Edit: As a mate told me, this could of course work for every pick screen if you're spectating a game.
