  • Spectating a game counted as being in a bot match

I'm having a weird issue. I'm spectating a game of my friends right now. I went to queue my self up, and the game presents the disconnect message over the match making. Game says I'm "connected to local game." Looking at my Dota 2 status it says playing with bots.

Here's a screen shot. EDIT: Just noticed I washed over the Playing with Bots status. Whoops! Sorry about that.

Any ideas? Haven't restarted client yet. I HAVE disconnected and reconnected to the match I'm spectating and got the same issue.

EDIT: Just restarted client and got the same bug.

It happens to me, as well. My work-around is to start searching and then do watch, but that won't work if the match is found while you're loading. Another bug on our hands!
I will mercilessly add to my ignore list anyone that makes an incredibly annoying signature.

I think they all have that bug and they should be fixing it pretty soon.

Good that i found this thread, i was gonna make one. Yeah i asked everyone in chat in a game f abt 1k spectators and all those who replied said they have the same bug. The spectator game counts as a bot game and you cant find any match while watching the game.
