  • Suggestion - Microphone check (DotaTV)

So, frequently, casters forget to re-activate their microphone to broadcast to DotaTV. The problem is that their voice is going through just fine on stream, making them believe they are transmitting through the Dota 2 client as well, but in reality they have unchecked the broadcast microphone option. The casters then have to see, through stream chat, since they are unable to be contacted unless it is through a steam friend (which is extremely lame but I understand why).

My suggestion of a solution to this problem is to tweak your already sound-checking system (the shout icon if the person talks too loud) to show if there is NO sound being transmitted! Also, create another threshold, saying if too LITTLE or too low sound is being transmitted. It's so easy and would solve so many issues!
