  • Valve, seriously stop these no commentary sound in game tournaments/casters

    Dotatv is usually good.
but sometimes there the ridiculous problem of no casters sound in dotatv.
currently on matches as important as ems lan finals.
tobi seriously ? this is not the first time hes casting hes not an amateur caster, isnt it his responsibility to make sure his viewers in game can listen to him ?,this has also happened before,
cant the tournament organisers take care that every thing is working fine before starting ? they earn a considerable amount of revenue through ticket sales now,
its the third match now without any sound and looks like navi vs the alliance will be the same
it sucks when u see the FREE stream having normal sound while the service u paid for sucks pretty bad.
valve seriously u need to ban/punish tournaments/casters for this.after all u are also taking a considerable amount of the ticket sales aren't you ? isnt it your responsibility too to make sure dotatv is working fine.?
    in two words: THIS SUCKS.

For EMS, Tobi is an outside hire. It is not Valve or Tobi's prerogative to ensure Dota TV capabilities of the EMS tournament. Complain to them instead.

Yeah it is ESL's fault. Valve has nothing to do with it, apparently ESL's audio equipment didn't work in DotATV which is a shame tbh. But I agree that there should be sanctions for the tournament holders if they can not deliver. There should be some kind of compensation since we are not getting the product we were promised.

yep some kind of sanctions are needed for all tournaments if they not check does everything work for viewer who paid ticket and with that showed support to that league to dota 2 and all they wana is working available game in dota tv and qualty of streamer voice instead of twitch viewers who watching this for free
Thank you IceFrog, Valve and Dota 2 team for everything you doing for Dota 2 community.
