  • Liquid vs. Na'vi Booted Me Out of Game for a Client Update; Couldn't Reconnect

    I hope this is the right location for this post.

    Game 3 of Team Liquid vs. Na'Vi today (06/20/2013 EST) on the D2L ticket in-game at some point (I don't remember the time, 8:15ish EST?) 'crashed' my Dota client and I couldn't reconnect to the game I had been spectating for almost the entire game.

    After I was booted out of that game, I had to update Dota. However, I couldn't reconnect to the game I had been spectating since ~4 minutes into it.

    I am very sad about this. I didn't leave the Dota client voluntarily; I was kicked out/crashed out of it because of the update and couldn't support my team.

    At least I was able to grab the D2L stream!

    Just frustrated is all. :,(

    Is there something I could have done differently to be able to support my team after getting kicked out of the client/updated involuntarily? I'd love to know!
