    Watching big plays on youtube is very enjoyable and inspiring for hundredthousands of players. Take for instance the dotacinema top 10 weekly hall of fame, which has been viewed 1.7 million times.

    These videos are made weekly thanks to player submissions. However, some time ago a change was made that limited the lifetime of public replays to 8 days. That means that after 8 days the replay becomes unavailable unless you already downloaded it. Because of this change, the video creators have a very limited amount of time to sift through the enormous amount of submitted replays and find the best plays before the replays expire.

    We get over 2000 replays sent in each week to the Top 10. Unfortunately, in this case, quantity does not mean quality. A large portion of the replays sent in are, to put it mildly, not good. At this point you may ask, "how is this any different than before?" The difference is the fact that all public replays expire after 8 days. Ever since this change was implemented, it has left us with not only poor quality in clips, but also lack of quantity as well.
    The change itself is understandable, as it was most likely introduced to limit the load on the servers after the game was released. But because of this change, the weekly top 10 series has really suffered. Please consider introducing a way to prolong a replay's lifetime.

    For instance let each player upvote of a replay suspend its decay by 2 days up to a maximum of 10 days or something.

    Well I'd also suggest:
    - Give us the option to download our replays via subscription (i.e. an option in Dota/Steam that downloads all of our games automatically when they become available);
    - Letting us favourite up to 10 at a time and these get kept in the user's cloud (what else are we going to do with 2GB of cloud space for DOTA2?)
