  • [Exploit] Massive creep wave.

I was playing as dire with one of my friends, we both went random and after a while of farming i noticed the creeps stopped coming, and i thought the game had glitched out, fast forward about 10 minutes, they have a huge creepwave of maybe 150 creeps?
    They were blocking radiant bot.
I just posted this here to get rid of my anger... It feels much better now. :3

    Match id: 35749642
Feel free to report them if you find that bug exploting thingy is not okay :3

It's flat impossible to not notice this happening and prevent it. Once prevented, their team just autoloses cause they wasted lots of time to prepare and gold on the Dominators (assuming they blocked lane with HotD creeps).

Well, this was the first time it happened so i had no idea what was going on.

Also the game isnt about who can defend their creep stack the best.

@Vulpes I saw such a creep stack at the end of some dotacinema video, where they bought maybe 6-7 courriers and put them in a "column" formation, i think at the top of the stairs, behind the inner bot tower. And courriers are cheap so I doubt it would be insta lose in that case.

I believe this is clever use of game mechanics, just like Rubick or Dark Seer can lift players onto inescapable locations.

I support Vulpes point of view: it is easy to notice and easy to prevent. If anything, new players may think it's the game glitching.

edit: by the way... this isn't a Replay issue. 'This post should be moved here.

A couple of days ago I was watching a friend's game and noticed enemy's Chen doing such blocking (with 2 courers, himself and converted creeps).
So I told my friend about that, and even with the 2 min timelag he was fast enough to get there and kill that whole wave along with Chen(he was playing as disruptor, so he kinda cast all he had there in that stack, and Chen just couldn't run fast enough cause he was blocked by all the creeps). Was like '+1000 gold' instantly.
So this exploit is not that problematic, easy to notice and easy to counter

PS The weirdest thing was that it was a game in high pool(not low priority even), that Chen got abandon for afk(cause he actually stayed in that creepwave block for a while) and he had around 750 wins. I mean really? A player with 750 wins going that low and even getting abandon, trying to get a cheap win by exploit? (needless to say that his team lost horribly in the end)

PPS No, really, here is match id.

Watch it, rate it(if you like), just see for yourself how 'experienced' players may fall low, and what an epic fail it was in the end.

I think you are missing the point, you don't do this to get an easy win (actually you make losing really easy because it's noticeable), but to see a wave of 100+ creeps going from your second tower to their throne is just HILARIOUS, i've done it before and it is fun, you can't do it on a game you take seriously and overall, it's just a way to troll, but still, fun as hell

Oh and btw, i wouldn't consider this an exploit, it's easy to counter and you have to use at least 9 couriers or use yourself to block (and the minimal time is 5-6 minutes for it to work), so if the other team doesn't notice, is the same they don't notice the team is doing roshan after 2 min of nobody on the map, it's just easy to avoid (go to the counter spot or roshan) and kill
