  • DotA 2 Replay Help

So I had an epic game last night, one of those worth watching on youtube. It was me and a friend and there was some random guy we were playing with who was on acid or something and was being hilarious in the mic the whole game, i went 15-1 with bane. I didn't record it (foolishly) so I thought I could just get the replay and voila, problem solved. I am very disappointed at this point. I get the replay, and in the replay it doesn't let me spectate my team, only the enemies team instead. How can I change that so I'm spectating my team? Also, after a bit of googleing I've came to the conclusion there is no VoN recorded on the replays? That is f*cking absurd... Is this true? I really hope DotA didn't render my whole game video useless.

In the Dota replay system you can spec your team by selecting the Player perspective options and selecting a player by clicking on them on the top. Only All-chat is shown in replays , no Mic chat or Team chat can be seen. You can also look up your game on your Dotabuff profile and get a fresh download from the API, but only if the game was recorded ( you need to have share profile on in options for the WebAPI to see you).

I'm not scared to show my DOTABUFF Profile, man up people.
