  • Omg. Okay, i can use GetMatchDetails for all matches, from 1 to latest match, and after that find user by accID, steamID, etc. But it is unreal. I just make some application for myself and i have not dedicated server for it. Just imagine how much time i need to parse all current matches.

    • If you are getting more than a month's worth of data per month of 24/7 parsing, then you are probably going way above the rate limits. xD

I'm dealing with the issue actually. I'm getting 500 last match of players instead of their all match history... Can't do better now :/

              • So they had time to produce new hats. And they had not time to fix 1 or 2 line in the code.

                • Good job! We still have this issue. It is ridiculous!

                  • Pretty sure its not going to be fixed. Might as well begin considering workarounds.

                    • Has anyone gotten a statement from Valve or a Valve employee about this? I just need to know if they are even aware of this issue and planning to fix it, or if everyone at valve has just forgotten that the API exists.

                      • Alternatively, does anyone know which Valve employees are in charge of the Dota 2 API, or even which employees are working on Dota 2 in general? Most of them have public emails that they respond to frequently. Maybe we could get their attention that way.

valve has a 'fluid' structure. several devs have come and gone from working on the API.
Hard to tell who, if anyone, would be working on it at this time.

                            • I'm not sure if this is just me, but it seems that the account_id parameter is no longer accepted on the getMatchHistory API call.

                              • GetMatchHistory has since been fixed.
