Muting system is counter-productive

    Well... I just lost a game that we did pretty well in the early game, just because of the mute system. The other team just counterpushed with lone druid and I couldn't tell my teammates how to organize better. My team was just running around wasting time while their team with 3 carries(sniper, ursa, LD) just farmed and beat us at the end. This is why chatban is not good for Dota2. Without communication this game is just 5 heroes running around doing random shit. After this I will just stop playing muted... It's not fun anymore.

      It's only counterproductive to users that want to abuse the system and not admit wrong doing when they belittle others.
      Pro MUTE System
      • If you complain about it, you're one of the people who have taken swift punishment from it. Proving it works.
      • If you keep arguing against it, you're a repeat offender, proving it works again.
      • ONLY REPEAT OFFENDERS continue to fight it.
      • Thank you Valve! Finally a system that shuts bad attitudes, big egos and ignorance down like a bad habit.

          Well its pretty obvious why the devs have stopped reading these forums. Half of these posts are just spouting the same two silly little mantra over and over again, and the others are supporting me. At the end of it, the topic is completely derailed and its fairly obvious that no one here actually cares to actually improve the game.

          Normally I'd ignore this, but since this is the closest thing we get to a response with some semblance of a coherent thought; allow me to educate you on basic linguistics.
          Since the good old RoC days. "RoC Days" is a specific period in time or set of versions of DotA prior to FT. The word "since" (In math terms =<), means from then on. Because since is used as a modifier to RoC Days, it refers to that specific period of time, and further OR from that set of versions and all later releases. Once again, in math terms that would be V.RoC+. Regardless, I didn't lie about anything; you just read what you wanted to read because you have sub-par English comprehension skills.
