  • [Suggestion] 3+ games a day VS. 5 games per month.

Who would suffer most from a 24 hour mute penalty? A player who got 900 games and play once a month, or a player with 800 games that play 3+ games per day?

From this perspective, is it fair that frequently playing players can recieve penalties from people who barely play?

Suggestion: If you recieve communication reports, restrict the communication while playing with more than one person that have reported you.

This way you'll have a new chance of bettering your behaviour. If you get reported too much, you'll increase the chance of not beeing able to communicate.

Also, the 24 hour mute could be changed to X number of games, or ingame time. That would be more fair between frequently playing players and players who barely play.

From my perspective, it would be alot more just for someone trying to improve. As the system is now, you can play a week muted, then 3-4 games unmuted, and then be muted for a week again. I believe most people are trying really hard not to recieve any communication reports.

I'm playing DOTA2 around 40h/week... This number keeps lessen because every match I play, I got +5 reports for no reason... I don't understand, how valve could let dota2 fall... Dota is a great game, but with this kind of system that you can abuse.. there is no more fun... just anger and trolling... I really don't think that I diserve those 1week/1mounth/3mounth/6mounth mutes... Saturday night at 0:50 my 168h ( 1 week ) mute ended, and I played a single match, and I've got another 168h mute... That's so ridiculous.. What's next? 1 mounth? 6 mounths ? 1 year?! This report system is a joke.
