  • There needs to be a warning about large search range queue popping

There needs to be a warning that, because the queue took so long, it decided to put you in a low skill game. 30% of my games are very high, but my last game put me with 2 people with under 50 games, and the majority of players had low win rates. The players were as bad as I got when I was just starting out. It wasn't fun for me, nor my allies, nor the enemy.

When it says "Game Is Ready" it no longer shows how large the search range for the queue was(and I find that bar to be inaccurate a lot of the time, anyway.)

There should be a warning that the search has taken so long that it's decided to match you with people it shouldn't. I'd rather expand what I'm queueing for than play in those matches.

It doesn't decide to match you with low skill players.

There is no "large search range queue".

Number of games played has nothing to do with skill. They could have played thousands of DotA 1 matches in the past.

I agree that wide range often results in shitty games, but then, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes small range still gives you a shitty game.

So all in all your argument is invalid.

What I do is that if search is taking too long, I cancel it and start again. You can do the same.
