  • Please restore the Learn-> Builds tab

    As of the Three Spirits update, when you access the Builds tab inside of Learn you are redirected to the workshop for some reason.

    The Hero Builds function was a great way to personalize the default item builds without having to publish a Steam Guide.

    I don't know if this was intentional, but I would love too see the Builds tab restored to it's former state (does anyone know a workaround for this?).

    I posted about this a couple days ago in various chats and the Steam Community forums and only got a couple responses because people are too busy talking about Diretide (and a lot of people I talked to never use/make/edit their own builds apparently). I don't know why there's suddenly a redirect to the Steam Community Workshop front page (even though the builds are on the dota2.com Workshop section and not on Steam Community), but I would like to be able to edit my builds without the need of a separate browser.

    Below is a repost of the response I got in my linked post:

    I think this issue came up a little after the Three Spirits update when the [Builds] tab and the new [Acknowledgements] tab switched places so that the [Acknowledgements] tab comes before the [Builds] tab, but I have no real proof to say that was when it started. I swear it was fine before that.

      @Noya
      You can edit your existing build in-game by adding new items, it will automatically overwrite your current build and make it default.

        More reports of the same should be sufficient confirmation. I am here to report the very same thing.
        I will mercilessly add to my ignore list anyone that makes an incredibly annoying signature.

          I'm aware of that, but to do it you need to change it ingame, which normally means creating a new single player lobby for each hero that you want to do a new build. The former system was perfect to create/review some builds while you queue for a match.

            I agree, builds tab was extremely useful. Now it's pain in the ass.
