  • BUG: Unsynchronized finding match timers

The Finding match... [MM:SS] timers in the green rectangle and in the Find a (Ranked/Normal) match are in fact two separate timers which should always show the same time elapsed but that's not actually true. See the screenshot that was attached below.

The green rectangle shows up and starts counting when the client receives a message from the server. The timers in the Find a (Ranked/Normal) match tabs start if such a message is already received AND you click on that tab. They will not start or count if you are not focused on the tab. If you are playing solo you will never experience this because you always have to click "Find a match" tab first before pressing the button. This bug can only be seen by player who is in the party and who is not the one that initiated the search.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Enter in a party
    2. Go on any other major tab (Today, Store, Watch, Library or Community as long as it is NOT "Play")
    3. Ask the OTHER party members to click the "Find match" or "Find ranked match" button
    4. Wait for the green rectangle with the timer to appear and then wait a few seconds without doing anything
    5. Go to the Play tab and you will see that the timers are desynchronized and the timer on the left has just started counting.

This bug has been present in the game for more than a year. It was even reported before but no action was taken to correct it.
