    Here are some ideas:
    0) Let the comunity participate. People can make guides, write stuff, make vids, just like playdota guildes, except in-game.

    1) Advanced Mechanics
    - all skill interactions: ex. Orb Effect Stacking, Immunities, Interactions with Linken, BKB, etc
    - all item iteractions
    - detailed description of every skill, item, mechanic
    - videos of advanced stuff: like blink dodging, juking, control etc - made by Valve or submitted by players.

    2) Published Guildes Available in-game.
    - best guides can be featured, awarded.
    - builds exportable in the recomended tab
    - videos of plays with the hero from the basic mechanics to the most advanced stuff.
    - explanations and tips can become available in-game
    - all comunity can submit stuff and the best are chosen, featured and reviewed.
    - Guides can be loaded in game for tips, item and skill builds

    3) Items
    - suggested heroes and builds for the item
    - counters, mechanics
    - videos for the actives, tutorials

    4) Tutorials
    - on mechanics: last-hitting, denying, playstyles
    - meta-game and pro-commentaries: stuff like day9 shows, VODs of pro players, specialized commentaries can be available there
    - many content makers can be featured in game with their content attached under the relevant hero or item.
    - top contributors will be featured, rewarded.

    5) Calculators
    - Want to compare the DPS of Butterfly vs Buriza? Equip a fictive hero and run simulations on him
    - Simulated Battles between heroes: choose heroes, items, see how they do.
    - Statistics: hero usage, item usage, hero win rate, common builds, etc
    - Build Planners: gold cost, stats gained, estimate effectiveness, make it combat different units or other heroes.

    6) Coaching
    - Get in touch with players willing to coach
    - Pros can be featured on the page and bookings and lessons can be done through the game.

Feel free to comment / add more ideas.

I'd like to see items added to the learn page sooner rather than later.

I'd like to see an option to transfer certain skill- and itembuilds from a guide at learning page to the actual game

Re: 4 and 6, I think Valve is adding them under the "Play" tab. Everything else, though, I agree, I would love to see all that.

I would especially love to see a kind of "quickplay" option for each hero: basically, a small side window that allows you to play each hero on a tiny test area, to test out each hero, use their skills, see their animations, learn how to last hit with them, etc. It wouldn't even have to be the full game map, just a small flat grassy arena-type area that spawns creeps to keep a full wave up in the middle, possibly with a "dummy" hero or two on either side, to allow you to test out all the skills. With so many heroes, many of the odd or complex, a quick way to test each hero that doesn't require booting up a full practice game would be awesome.

Would love to see those on learn page. I hope this forum is read by devs. Here and on other threads you can find really cool ideas.

Learn tab should also have illustrated animations for skill effects for heroes and items. THis could be outsourced to the community with set guidelines and the best recorded ones could be integrated. This will for sure reduce the amount of workload that Valve has :P
