  • Make a Dota Planner on the Learn Tab

In its current state, Dota 2 only has hero portraits and lore on their Learn Tab. Though I find this useful, it lacks the store items. I would have to run a bot match or spectate just to get a hold of the items and their descriptions.

I've even looked at making a Google Doc spreadsheet but the sheer information I have to put together plus my lack of spreadsheet scripting makes the task too big for me to handle.

Give us a planning interface where I can simulate shopping for my hero. Give me a tool so that I can get items for my hero and see what changes it can make for hero's stats. It's all about budget as well. If my average gold per match on a certain hero shows that I can't save up for a really big item, I might realistically aim for a more practical weapon or item that gives me more boost for my money at the time of need.

    What do you guys think?

+1. Dota's learning curve is incredibly steep. Anything to make it easier for new players without sacrificing the gameplay.

Please use search, there have been at least 30 other threads with the same suggestion. We all assume it's already in production, just give it some time.
