  • 50% of the screen is... a website?

This is my main concern. Generally the new dashboard looks decent, but really, why do you need to block all my view with a website? If i want to see website i will turn on my browser and load it. There are millions of better ways to use all that space:
show detailed personal stats, show currently playing games, show "selected" replays (that were played on important tournaments), and if you want that much to show your dota 2 blog, you can just load the latest titles from the blog in one small box, and when user clicks that box it opens up in a browser etc..

IMO this is the biggest issue with this dashboard. Anyone else?

My biggest problem is above chat where it shows your level...it no longer shows losses.

Though the design looks far superior, the use of space is not. I believe there's too much dead space right now, would love to see some of the old stuff make it back to the front page.

The losses are in your profile Pickles, no big deal.

Agreed on some of the dead space issues though -- I like the website being easily available in-game, it unites sources of information well, but I don't think it needs to have half of the main Today page, though.

I wouldn't be upset if this wasn't changed, I just think you guys could do sweeter things with that space!

I think they'll add other tabs, like a section to watch livestreams (tournaments), leagues and stuff like that. I'm sure they've some neat stuff planned.

that would be really cool actually, good for people who take part in the competitive community more than others.

I'm afraid main reason to make 'website' screen so big is that they can draw attention to new 'buyable' stuff once it is all released (like in TF2 now). So probably it would be used for advertising.

hopefully there will be a shop tab for that instead of throwing it at our faces =[

I don't like the idea of website.
And I think that hiding losses and abandons away to profile is really stupid. I always want to see my wins and losses together, so I can compare them.

I actually can't wait for the dashboard to be implemented in the main client. The only few changes that I'd like to see are to the pink background. Make something darker to fit the awesome animation below.

And maybe change a few of the portraits to what they were before. Some are just weird.

                      Really loving the dashboard.

It is because Valve want to show the site to some players that dont know about it, it kinda a little respect with the updates and know what s going on
