the new dashboard is a bit laggy, and I dont really like the background fire, which is laggy too for my poor comp
thats why I prefer old dashboard

also the sound when you put your cursor on the button is awful, imo, much better before

I also support X3G's suggestion for "a tab for your profile rather than clicking on your name" and I would also like this tab being the home tab ( but that's probably just me ).
Either way, overall it's a nice change although I'd love a settings option to change back to the old dashboard.
Agree, i prefer all the sections are full of the scree, the background picture is girly and doesn't fit the blakc style of the dashboard. I think valve should make the doat 2 dashboard more sharpy.

i really like the new friend box i can immediately tell whos playing dota with a glance. i really dont like the blog on the main page, the main reason being it only updates once a week. i would prefer the last dashboard with the addition of the new friends and my tag and history changes not really a fan of the rest

You can see your losses an abandons on your profile, they are under the wins in a slightly faded font :3

I'm not sure about the new UI.... I really liked the old blog style with the picture and a little catchphrase, but as others have said, the new one really feels like a website. I also kind of miss the old grid-style all-pick :3 and finally, ES and zeus' learn tab icons make them look squished and weaker I think apart from those 3 or 4 things I think the new style's pretty cool and I love what valve did with ogre magi... Genius.

A huge problem I've found with the new UI is its effect on users of older or less-powerful computers. The addition of the sparks at the bottom of the dashboard background, I feel is unnecessary, partially because it's just flair, but mostly because it completely wrecks the performance of older machines. 2008 Intel Core 2 Quad gets about 5 fps with the fire effect. The fonts are way too small, and in widescreen mode, all of the information is packed into a small line in the middle of the screen. The whole thing feels like a website.

I like the previous version better. And I'd like to think that I'm not alone.

tl;dr new interface is poorly organized, fire effect breaks older computers
