  • HUGE Lag on Play/Watch Panel

I don't know if I'm the only one who runs the game at full max settings/resolution but I never had any kind of lag in any panel or even in game because of graphics but for some reason with the new Dashboard every time I go into Play or Watch Panel I get a stupid amount of lag for no apparent reason. I tried to change my settings to a lower resolution and the lag keeps there, in matter of fact there's more lag than in higher resolution...
    Anyone having the same problem/lag...?

I think the FPS drop is much worse on the play/watch panel...but it's always there with the new interface. I agree that the sparks are a contributing factor.

I thought about it as well but dota_embers 0 and still laggy as hell. I would appreciate a reply from a dev about the matter. It still lags and now in the Profile (any profile not only mine) Panel... I just can't see anyone profile because I have a delay of like 1 minute to change boards. I like the new Dashboard (I hate the new hero picker and think that the whole card system is awful. We are not playing Yu-Gi-Oh!) but it's there's lag to everyone. Looking forward to see what they do next patch.

I just turned off that embers and my FPS is back to where it's supposed to be. I think it's because the game does not report to the graphic cards driver that this ember needs some gpu power thats why its so heavy. I found earlier that switching to borderless window helps, and that makes me think that valve somehow got it the other way around in the settings somewhere. Theoretically fullscreen mode should deliver more than borderless window because in fullscreen the game should be prioritized, but in reality here it looks like it's the other way around. So, turning off ember really helps (at least for me it does).
