It's close, but I think the new iteration is an improvement. The old one was functional, but it felt extremely cluttered.

Also, I think taking the losses out is a good decision. Newer players will be less afraid about having a positive W/L, and it will encourage people to have more FUN with this game instead of taking everything so seriously.

Yep, wasting space and making concessions scaling down text is not something I can adapt to, or learn to appreciate over time. It just goes against the core principals of design.

What was wrong with the aesthetics of the old Play tab? The red gradients over server locations look really amateurish. (Ignoring that the entire interface is consistently maroon.)

Also I spotted this redundancy: redudnt.jpg

I have to agree :c After some speculations, I still like old one. But portraits, cards are great.

    - there is too much wasted space
    - the windows, images and text are too small
    - the animated pink background is inferior to the grey gates.
    - there are no losses shown anymore
    - the Steam profile pick is too darkened
    - the top three Live games and the tower status are gone
    - the blog bit in "Today page" has way too small font.

Please, do not port the new dashboard tomorrow. The current one is superior in every way. I like what you guys are doing with the new dashboard, but it needs more work and more space efficiency.

    Best regards.
