The MAIN reason why old Dashboard was better

I believe that you're incorrect about that OP. The new dashboard is fine but needs some more tweaks. I suggest to make the chat box wider. Also, when a person select individual tabs such as watch and learning, I want it to take up most of the screen. Have the chat box minimize or something during that time. Maximizing it will just put the overlay on top.

This is true; information is more easily acquired if the content is distributed in a left-to-right format. Now that you've put both dashboards next to one another, I really miss the old one. Hoping they revert the changes.

I understand that you seek to defend Valve, but when so many people complain about the recent changes (dashboard/hero picker), you know something is wrong. I count myself as one of them. There is nothing I could say about the recent change that strikes me as positive.
I'm faithful that Valve will listen and make further adjustments though

OLD interface was soooooooooooooooo MUCH better. So much wasted space with useless things in the new one.

I like the new one. Dota isnt some shitty MMO, the chat is not a full-time spending on thing.
You dont need to focus both eyes on chat.

The new UI makes the game seem feel really cheap. The new sound effects are weird too. Prefer the old ones.

The only problem i have with the new Dashboard, is that the Chat is so hidden and small compared to the old one.

My main issue with the new dashboard is the FPS DROP. I hope the devs realize this is a priority issue and they get it fixed in the next patch.

I don't really agree. With this logic then browsers should be made so webpages are horizontal. My only problem is with the hero picker, too much scrolling and not a lot of information.

Where exactly is the wasted space? From what I quickly did it seems as though the new interface has approximately 16% wasted space vs the old UI which has around 25%.
